I'm excited..
To finish this semester, not for the obvious reasons- a break from classes, time to myself. But I’m excited to read!!! To read something I WANT to read! A novel, a poem, a short story… I’ve missed reading, a lot. Sometimes I fear the critical way of thinking I’ve come accustom to in school, has stripped the creativity from me. I hope I’m wrong.

my Sis just called me and told me she is having an emergency ultra-sound tomorrow because her blood pressure is too high. Is it bad that the only thing I’m sitting here dwelling on, is the fact that my dad jumped at the chance to skip work and drive her?
Oh and she just had to add the fact that he offered to pay for her wedding too.
